Explore a new, contemporary art visual language in pottery by examining iconic pottery forms. Using archetypal pottery forms as a point of departure, this workshop covers formal and conceptual possibilities of abstraction within the realm of pottery. Helke will construct pots from thrown and hand built parts and discuss the interplay of form and surface using slips.
