In this workshop, I will demonstrate how I make a Double Headed Effigy Vessel. I am greatly inspired by nature and the idea for this form came from the twin fawns that were born in my yard in Red Lodge, Montana. I handbuild my work using the coil and pinch method and I will often cut apart and reattach the clay to create patterning and design which will also be demonstrated. I will discuss how I finish my work with terra sigilatta and washes.
